Let’s Go Diving…

Many times I am asked in a beginning Open Water Diver class what I meant when I said “your certification card is like your Learner’s Permit”.

My response…. It is your license to go and learn to dive. In the Open Water Diver course a diver is taught all about diver safety, buoyancy control, aquatic world awareness, equipment considerations and a whole host of other very important topics including all the FUN you can have. But… the one thing you CANNOT get from the relatively short period of time we spend together during the course is EXPERIENCE.

A really cool way to gain more experience and have a lot of fun doing so is to get out and dive as much as you can. By doing this you will meet a bunch of neat people, go many great places and do many exciting things. This is the PADI promise: Meet People, Go Places, Do Things. AND HAVE FUN!!!!

With that in mind, I would like to invite everyone to come join me on our Panama City Dive Trip coming up July 22-24. Whether you are trying to get your Advanced Certification or just want to go diving, it is a great trip. We will dive 2 days, 2 tanks each day. The Gulf is a great place to go diving. Over the years I have had many memorable adventures in the waters off the coast of Panama City. I would love to share these adventures with some of my newest dive buddies as well as lifelong dive friends.

Hotel accommodations and dinner at Capt Anderson’s is included. Check out the flyer on the website or in the dive shop.

Gulf diving creates great divers because of the wide ranging conditions, abundance of aquatic life and cool dive sites. This is a very good opportunity for those new divers looking to gain experience as well as for those seasoned divers looking to have a good time diving and sharing diving tales with a great bunch of divers. If you have never been on this trip, you have got to check it out at least once. I guarantee that after this trip you will be primed and ready to see what the next cool adventure will be.
