| Where are we staying?
Captain Don's Habitat on the island of
Bonaire in the Netherlands Antilles. Bonaire is located in the
Southern Caribbean Sea 75 miles north of the coast of South America.
Most people have heard of Aruba. Bonaire is located 75 miles east of
Aruba.
|
| When are we diving? The trip includes 12 boat dives that you
can use anytime during our stay. We normally schedule 2 boat dives
for our group first thing each morning. You may also purchase
additional boat dives during your stay. We try to use our boat dives
to access dive sites that are not accessible by shore diving.
Many of Bonaire's dive sites are easily accessed by shore. The
trip includes unlimited cylinders for shore diving during your stay.
Shore diving is what Bonaire is world famous for. In fact one of the
best shore dives on the island is the house reef right in front of the
resort. See the little dock in the picture above? That's "Baby
Dock". Baby Dock was built for the exclusive use of resort guests
diving the house reef. We even have customers that travel to Bonaire
with us that don't do any boat dives while there.
The great thing about this trip is that the choice is yours. Dive
from boat or shore. Dive as much or little as you like. Dive
anytime of the day or night you like. Cylinders are available 24/7.
|
| What's included? Roundtrip airfare from Atlanta, 8 days/7
nights at Capt. Don's, 12 boat dives, use of weights and unlimited
cylinders for shore diving, full daily breakfast, taxes and service
charges.
|
| What's NOT included Lunch and dinner, bar tab, souvenirs and
incidentals, rental truck
|
| How are we getting there? This trip departs from Atlanta.
Everyone is responsible for their own transportation to Atlanta and back.
The flight from Atlanta to Bonaire normally departs around 9:30 am and
arrives in Bonaire around 2:00 pm.
After clearing immigration in Bonaire we claim our bags, pick up our rental
vehicles (if you have chosen to rent one) and make our way to Capt.
Don's. The arrival time makes it easy to check in, move into your
room, get to know your way around the resort and then have a leisurely
dinner before turning in for a good nights sleep in preparation for a full
day of diving on Sunday.
